Gore Vidal’s The Best Man: Timely Classic

And the national party conventions begin! A great play about the backroom maneuvers at a political convention, The Best Man originally appeared on Broadway in 1960. It was recently revived and nominated for a Tony Award in 2012.  In 1964 it was made into a movie starring Henry Fonda.  Check it out!
