IPPL offers free emagazines to our cardholders that can be read on computers, tablets, or smart phones, through Zinio, a digital magazine provider. All you need is an IPPL card and an email address. To get started, click here to go to the IPPL Zinio page.
- Either create an account or log in to your account.
- Click on the cover of the magazine you would like to read.
- Now, complete checkout.
- To checkout another magazine, click KEEP BROWSING.
How can I read the magazines on my computer?
You can read them right away from your browser while you're online. To read offline, install Zinio Desktop Reader.
How can I read the magazines on a tablet or smartphone?
Download the Zinio for Libraries app to read magazines on your tablet or smartphone, after you set up your IPPL Zinio account.
Zinio has apps for the iPad, iPhone, and Android devices. For the Kindle Fire, click here for details. Currently, there is no Zinio app for Barnes & Noble's Nook devices.
My account is all set up. Do I use my app or IPPL to get new magazines?
Always choose your magazine through IPPL's website. You read the magazine using your Zinio for Libraries Reader app.
Do I have to return the magazines? How long can I keep them?
One of the greatest features of Zinio is that once you download a magazine, you may keep it. However, when you select a magazine, you are not getting a subscription—just a single issue. You will need to add each month's issue from the IPPL Zinio page.
