Children are more likely to succeed in school (and later in life) if parents and caregivers talk, sing, and read to them every day at a young age. We offer a variety of classes and materials to support early literacy learning that will help children develop critical literacy skills before they start school.

Enroll in Little ULittle U Logo

Little U is the name IPPL has given to its storytimes because there is so much learning going on. These classes use talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing to build early literacy skills—the skills that children need to start reading. Children will practice these skills and parents will learn how to encourage them at home. Little U is in session during the fall, winter, and spring. Check our class schedule for current and upcoming Little U storytimes.
