Earlier this year the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) announced they would contract with the College Board to provide the SAT, instead of the ACT, at no cost to high school juniors. In addition, ISBE also announced the SAT will replace the PARCC standardized test for high school juniors.
To help with the transition and aid students that may be taking either or both, Kaplan will offer a Practice ACT and SAT combo test Saturday, October 1 from 12:30-4:30 p.m at the library. All participants will receive same day scoring. Teens that wish to participate in this program can sign up via the Kaplan website, or you can call or stop by the Kids & Teens desk for help.
