We have eBooks!

Did you get an eReader or tablet for Christmas? Not sure what to do next? Don’t worry — we’ll be in the lobby on Thursday, December 27 from 2-4pm to answer all of your eBook questions.

Want to explore on your own? Use eMediaLibrary to check out eBooks from the library. Check out the handouts and tutorials we have for Kindle, Nook, and iPad users. Or maybe a more formal setting works best for you. Sign up for one of our hands-on eBook classes during the week of January 7.

Questions? Contact the Adult Services Desk at 630-887-8760 ext. 239.

eBook Updates

Update: As of 11:30am, access to eMediaLibrary accounts has been restored. If you still cannot see you holds or items on your bookshelf, please contact us at (630) 887-8760 ext. 239.

Your password for our eBook catalog, eMediaLibrary from Overdrive, has changed. Instead of your last name, you will use the PIN from the SWAN online catalog to log in. If you don’t already have a SWAN account, you will need to create one.

Unfortunately, during the transition, there was a glitch. Any items that you had on your holds shelf, your bookshelf, or your wish list do not appear when you log in to your account. This issue should be fixed by Friday evening. We will let you know when accounts have been restored.

If you have any questions, please contact the Ask Us Desk at (630) 887-8760 ext. 239.
