Circulation Services Associate

The Indian Prairie Public Library is seeking a part-time Circulation Associate. If you love working with people, consider joining our team! Job duties include checking materials in and out, issuing library cards, collecting fees and fines, handling incoming calls for the library and passport acceptance.

This position averages 16 hours per week; must be available to work days, nights and weekends. The salary is $13.99 per hour.

The library is looking for people with enthusiasm and ideas. We offer a dynamic, engaging team environment that values initiative and each individual. Applicants must have a commitment to excellent customer service, a friendly manner, a sense of humor and be able to work as part of a team. Other requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of work experience involving public contact. You must also be a U.S. citizen in order to do passport acceptance.
