A person holding a Indian Prairie Library cardGetting Your Library Card Remotely

We are issuing library cards remotely to residents and businesses during the temporary building closure.

Sign up for a digital card to access our online resources while the building is closed. Use your digital Indian Prairie Public Library card to enjoy free ebooks, music, movies, and databases. Digital cards are valid for 90 days.

After 90 days . . .

If you live in our district and pay library taxes, you will be able to verify your account in-person and get a permanent card.

If you don’t live in our district, and you’d like to get an Indian Prairie Public Library card, you can! It’s $206 (until June 30), and it’s good for the entire family for a year. Note: The cost of the card changes each year on July 1. The fee is based on the average amount a resident pays in library taxes each year.
