Babies Need Words Every Day...so TALK to them!
Children learn new words, letters, and sounds when you talk, read, sing, and write together. Play allows children to practice everything they've learned!
Here are some practical ways to TALK to your baby:
- When you walk from place to place with your child and talk about the things you see, your child learns new words.
- Ask your baby lots of questions and respond to the answers yourself. The more words you use, the more words your child will know.
