Netflix Debuts New Storytime Series Celebrating Black Voices


The past few months have brought on a new wave of celebrating stories, particularly stories that highlight the African American experience. Today, Netflix debuts a new series called Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices

The series, hosted by teenage activist Marley Dias, showcases celebrity readers sharing children's books by Black authors to spark kid-friendly conversations about empathy, equality, self-love, and antiracism. 

Readers include Karamo Brown, Misty Copeland, Lupita Nyong'o, Common, Tiffany Haddish and more.

All 12 episodes are instantly available on the Netflix Jr. YouTube channel.
