The mission of the Darien Historical Society is to collect and preserve archives and artifacts relating to the history of Darien and to serve as a resource for students, educators, historians, genealogists, and other interested persons. The Old Lace Schoolhouse and Museum is open to the public the first and third Sunday of every month, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free. 7422 Cass Ave., Darien, IL 60561 – 630/964-7033.
